Psalms 65:6-11
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 65
6Who establishes the mountains by His strength, Who is encircled with might; 7Who stills the roaring of the seas, The roaring of their waves, And the turmoil of the nations. 8They who dwell at the ends of the earth stand in awe of Your signs; You make the sunrise and the sunset shout for joy. 9You visit the earth and cause it to overflow; You greatly enrich it; The stream of God is full of water; You prepare their grain, for so You prepare the earth. 10You water its furrows abundantly, You settle its ridges, You soften it with showers, You bless its growth. 11You have crowned the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drip with fatness.King James Version
Chapter 65
6Which by his strength setteth fast the mountains; being girded with power: 7Which stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people. 8They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice. 9Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, which is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it. 10Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof. 11Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 65
6You establish the mountains by your power; you are robed with strength. 7You silence the roar of the seas, the roar of their waves, and the tumult of the nations.
8Those who live far away are awed by your signs; you make east and west shout for joy.
9You visit the earth and water it abundantly, enriching it greatly. God's stream is filled with water, for you prepare the earth in this way, providing people with grain.
10You soften it with showers and bless its growth, soaking its furrows and leveling its ridges.
11You crown the year with your goodness; your carts overflow with plenty.
New Living Translation
Chapter 65
6You formed the mountains by your power and armed yourself with mighty strength. 7You quieted the raging oceans with their pounding waves and silenced the shouting of the nations. 8Those who live at the ends of the earth stand in awe of your wonders. From where the sun rises to where it sets, you inspire shouts of joy.
9You take care of the earth and water it, making it rich and fertile. The river of God has plenty of water; it provides a bountiful harvest of grain, for you have ordered it so.
10You drench the plowed ground with rain, melting the clods and leveling the ridges. You soften the earth with showers and bless its abundant crops.
11You crown the year with a bountiful harvest; even the hard pathways overflow with abundance.
