Psalm chapter 146
English Standard Version
1 Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord, O my soul! 2I will praise the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being. 3 Put not your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation. 4When his breath departs, he returns to the earth; on that very day his plans perish. 5 Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God, 6 who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, who keeps faith forever; 7 who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets the prisoners free; 8 the Lord opens the eyes of the blind. The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down; the Lord loves the righteous. 9 The Lord watches over the sojourners; he upholds the widow and the fatherless, but the way of the wicked he brings to ruin. 10 The Lord will reign forever, your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the Lord!
New International Version
1Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord, my soul. 2I will praise the Lord all my life; I will sing praise to my God as long as I live. 3Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save. 4When their spirit departs, they return to the ground; on that very day their plans come to nothing.
5Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord their God. 6He is the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them— he remains faithful forever. 7He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets prisoners free, 8the Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the righteous.
New American Standard Bible

Christian Standard Bible
2I will praise the Lord all my life; I will sing to my God as long as I live. 3Do not trust in nobles, in a son of man, who cannot save.
4When his breath leaves him, he returns to the ground; on that day his plans die. 5Happy is the one whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God, 6the Maker of heaven and earth, the sea and everything in them. He remains faithful forever, 7executing justice for the exploited and giving food to the hungry. The Lord frees prisoners. 8The Lord opens the eyes of the blind. The Lord raises up those who are oppressed. The Lord loves the righteous.
New Living Translation
1Praise the Lord! Let all that I am praise the Lord. 2I will praise the Lord as long as I live. I will sing praises to my God with my dying breath.
3Don’t put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there. 4When they breathe their last, they return to the earth, and all their plans die with them. 5But joyful are those who have the God of Israel as their helper, whose hope is in the Lord their God. 6He made heaven and earth, the sea, and everything in them. He keeps every promise forever. 7He gives justice to the oppressed and food to the hungry. The Lord frees the prisoners. 8The Lord opens the eyes of the blind. The Lord lifts up those who are weighed down. The Lord loves the godly. 9The Lord protects the foreigners among us. He cares for the orphans and widows, but he frustrates the plans of the wicked.
