Psalms 141:4-7
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 141
4Do not incline my heart to any evil thing, To practice deeds of wickedness With people who do wrong; And may I not taste their delicacies. 5May the righteous strike me with mercy and discipline me; It is oil for the head; My head shall not refuse it, For my prayer is still against their evil deeds. 6Their judges are thrown down by the sides of the rock, And they hear my words, for they are pleasant. 7As when one plows and breaks open the earth, Our bones have been scattered at the mouth of Sheol.King James Version
5Let the righteous smite me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities.
6When their judges are overthrown in stony places, they shall hear my words; for they are sweet.
7Our bones are scattered at the grave's mouth, as when one cutteth and cleaveth wood upon the earth.

Chapter 141
4Do not let my heart turn to any evil thing or perform wicked acts with evildoers. Do not let me feast on their delicacies. 5Let the righteous one strike me -- it is an act of faithful love; let him rebuke me -- it is oil for my head; let me not refuse it. Even now my prayer is against the evil acts of the wicked.New Living Translation
5Let the godly strike me! It will be a kindness! If they correct me, it is soothing medicine. Don’t let me refuse it. But I pray constantly against the wicked and their deeds.
6When their leaders are thrown down from a cliff, the wicked will listen to my words and find them true.
7Like rocks brought up by a plow, the bones of the wicked will lie scattered without burial.

Chapter 141
4Do not let my heart incline to any evil, to busy myself with wicked deeds in company with men who work iniquity, and let me not eat of their delicacies! 5Let a righteous man strike me—it is a kindness; let him rebuke me—it is oil for my head; let my head not refuse it. Yet my prayer is continually against their evil deeds. 6When their judges are thrown over the cliff, then they shall hear my words, for they are pleasant. 7As when one plows and breaks up the earth, so shall our bones be scattered at the mouth of Sheol.New International Version
