Chapter 80

2Before Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh, awaken Your power, And come to save us! 3God, restore us And make Your face shine upon us, and we will be saved. 4Lord God of armies, How long will You be angry with the prayer of Your people? 5You have fed them with the bread of tears, And You have made them drink tears in large measure. 6You make us an object of contention to our neighbors, And our enemies laugh among themselves. 7God of armies, restore us And make Your face shine upon us, and we will be saved.

2Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh stir up thy strength, and come and save us.
3Turn us again, O God, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
4O Lord God of hosts, how long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people?
5Thou feedest them with the bread of tears; and givest them tears to drink in great measure.
6Thou makest us a strife unto our neighbours: and our enemies laugh among themselves.
7Turn us again, O God of hosts, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
