Chapter 71
2In Your righteousness rescue me and save me; Extend Your ear to me and help me. 3Be to me a rock of dwelling to which I may continually come; You have given the commandment to save me, For You are my rock and my fortress. 4Save me, my God, from the hand of the wicked, From the grasp of the wrongdoer and the ruthless, 5For You are my hope; Lord God, You are my confidence from my youth. 6I have leaned on you since my birth; You are He who took me from my mother’s womb; My praise is continually of You. 7I have become a marvel to many, For You are my strong refuge. 8My mouth is filled with Your praise And with Your glory all day long. 9Do not cast me away at the time of my old age; Do not abandon me when my strength fails. 10For my enemies have spoken against me; And those who watch for my life have consulted together,King James Version

2Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thine ear unto me, and save me. 3Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress. 4Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man. 5For thou art my hope, O Lord GOD: thou art my trust from my youth. 6By thee have I been holden up from the womb: thou art he that took me out of my mother's bowels: my praise shall be continually of thee. 7I am as a wonder unto many; but thou art my strong refuge. 8Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honour all the day. 9Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth. 10For mine enemies speak against me; and they that lay wait for my soul take counsel together,Christian Standard Bible

Chapter 71
2Save me and rescue me, for you do what is right. Turn your ear to listen to me, and set me free. 3Be my rock of safety where I can always hide. Give the order to save me, for you are my rock and my fortress. 4My God, rescue me from the power of the wicked, from the clutches of cruel oppressors. 5O Lord, you alone are my hope. I’ve trusted you, O Lord, from childhood. 6Yes, you have been with me from birth; from my mother’s womb you have cared for me. No wonder I am always praising you!
7My life is an example to many, because you have been my strength and protection.
8That is why I can never stop praising you; I declare your glory all day long.
9And now, in my old age, don’t set me aside. Don’t abandon me when my strength is failing.
10For my enemies are whispering against me. They are plotting together to kill me.
