Chapter 69
7Because for Your sake I have endured disgrace; Dishonor has covered my face. 8I have become estranged from my brothers, And a stranger to my mother’s sons. 9For zeal for Your house has consumed me, And the taunts of those who taunt You have fallen on me. 10When I wept in my soul with fasting, It became my disgrace. 11When I made sackcloth my clothing, I became a proverb to them.King James Version
Chapter 69
7Because for thy sake I have borne reproach; shame hath covered my face. 8I am become a stranger unto my brethren, and an alien unto my mother's children. 9For the zeal of thine house hath eaten me up; and the reproaches of them that reproached thee are fallen upon me. 10When I wept, and chastened my soul with fasting, that was to my reproach. 11I made sackcloth also my garment; and I became a proverb to them.Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 69
7For I have endured insults because of you, and shame has covered my face. 8I have become a stranger to my brothers and a foreigner to my mother's sons 9because zeal for your house has consumed me, and the insults of those who insult you have fallen on me. 10I mourned and fasted, but it brought me insults. 11I wore sackcloth as my clothing, and I was a joke to them.New Living Translation

Chapter 69
7For I endure scorn for your sake, and shame covers my face. 8I am a foreigner to my own family, a stranger to my own mother's children; 9for zeal for your house consumes me, and the insults of those who insult you fall on me. 10When I weep and fast, I must endure scorn; 11when I put on sackcloth, people make sport of me.New King James Version
