Chapter 69
4Those who hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head; Those who would destroy me are powerful, those who oppose me with lies; What I did not steal, I then have to restore. 5God, You know my foolishness, And my guilt is not hidden from You. 6May those who wait for You not be ashamed because of me, Lord God of armies; May those who seek You not be dishonored because of me, God of Israel, 7Because for Your sake I have endured disgrace; Dishonor has covered my face. 8I have become estranged from my brothers, And a stranger to my mother’s sons. 9For zeal for Your house has consumed me, And the taunts of those who taunt You have fallen on me. 10When I wept in my soul with fasting, It became my disgrace.King James Version

4Those who hate me without cause are more numerous than the hairs of my head; my deceitful enemies, who would destroy me, are powerful. Though I did not steal, I must repay. 5God, you know my foolishness, and my guilty acts are not hidden from you. 6Do not let those who put their hope in you be disgraced because of me, Lord God of Armies; do not let those who seek you be humiliated because of me, God of Israel. 7For I have endured insults because of you, and shame has covered my face. 8I have become a stranger to my brothers and a foreigner to my mother’s sons 9because zeal for your house has consumed me, and the insults of those who insult you have fallen on me. 10I mourned and fasted, but it brought me insults.New Living Translation
5O God, you know how foolish I am; my sins cannot be hidden from you.
6Don’t let those who trust in you be ashamed because of me, O Sovereign Lord of Heaven’s Armies. Don’t let me cause them to be humiliated, O God of Israel.
7For I endure insults for your sake; humiliation is written all over my face.
8Even my own brothers pretend they don’t know me; they treat me like a stranger.

4 More in number than the hairs of my head are those who hate me without cause; mighty are those who would destroy me, those who attack me with lies. What I did not steal must I now restore? 5O God, you know my folly; the wrongs I have done are not hidden from you. 6Let not those who hope in you be put to shame through me, O Lord God of hosts; let not those who seek you be brought to dishonor through me, O God of Israel. 7For it is for your sake that I have borne reproach, that dishonor has covered my face. 8I have become a stranger to my brothers, an alien to my mother 's sons. 9For zeal for your house has consumed me, and the reproaches of those who reproach you have fallen on me. 10When I wept and humbled my soul with fasting, it became my reproach.New International Version
