Psalms 6:2-8
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 6
2Be gracious to me, Lord, for I am frail; Heal me, Lord, for my bones are horrified. 3And my soul is greatly horrified; But You, Lord—how long? 4Return, Lord, rescue my soul; Save me because of Your mercy. 5For there is no mention of You in death; In Sheol, who will praise You? 6I am weary with my sighing; Every night I make my bed swim, I flood my couch with my tears. 7My eye has wasted away with grief; It has grown old because of all my enemies. 8Leave me, all you who practice injustice, For the Lord has heard the sound of my weeping.King James Version
Christian Standard Bible

4Turn, Lord! Rescue me; save me because of your faithful love.

5For the dead do not remember you. Who can praise you from the grave?

Chapter 6
2Be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am languishing; heal me, O Lord, for my bones are troubled. 3My soul also is greatly troubled. But you, O Lord — how long? 4Turn, O Lord, deliver my life; save me for the sake of your steadfast love. 5For in death there is no remembrance of you; in Sheol who will give you praise? 6I am weary with my moaning; every night I flood my bed with tears; I drench my couch with my weeping. 7My eye wastes away because of grief; it grows weak because of all my foes. 8 Depart from me, all you workers of evil, for the Lord has heard the sound of my weeping.New International Version
