Psalms 37:35-40
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 37
35I have seen a wicked, violent person Spreading himself like a luxuriant tree in its native soil. 36Then he passed away, and behold, he was no more; I searched for him, but he could not be found. 37Observe the blameless person, and look at the upright; For the person of peace will have a future. 38But wrongdoers will altogether be destroyed; The future of the wicked will be eliminated. 39But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is their strength in time of trouble. 40The Lord helps them and rescues them; He rescues them from the wicked and saves them, Because they take refuge in Him.King James Version
Chapter 37
35I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree. 36Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found. 37Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace. 38But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off. 39But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble. 40And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.Christian Standard Bible
