Psalms 33:15-22
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 33
15He who fashions the hearts of them all, He who understands all their works. 16The king is not saved by a mighty army; A warrior is not rescued by great strength. 17A horse is a false hope for victory; Nor does it rescue anyone by its great strength. 18Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who wait for His faithfulness, 19To rescue their soul from death And to keep them alive in famine. 20Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield. 21For our heart rejoices in Him, Because we trust in His holy name. 22Let Your favor, Lord, be upon us, Just as we have waited for You.King James Version

Chapter 33
15He made their hearts, so he understands everything they do. 16The best-equipped army cannot save a king, nor is great strength enough to save a warrior. 17Don’t count on your warhorse to give you victory — for all its strength, it cannot save you.English Standard Version
Chapter 33
15he who fashions the hearts of them all and observes all their deeds. 16 The king is not saved by his great army; a warrior is not delivered by his great strength. 17 The war horse is a false hope for salvation, and by its great might it cannot rescue. 18Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his steadfast love, 19that he may deliver their soul from death and keep them alive in famine. 20Our soul waits for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. 21For our heart is glad in him, because we trust in his holy name. 22Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us, even as we hope in you.New International Version
Chapter 33
15he who forms the hearts of all, who considers everything they do. 16No king is saved by the size of his army; no warrior escapes by his great strength. 17A horse is a vain hope for deliverance; despite all its great strength it cannot save. 18But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love,New King James Version
