Psalms 19:2-14
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 19
2Day to day pours forth speech, And night to night reveals knowledge. 3There is no speech, nor are there words; Their voice is not heard. 4Their line has gone out into all the earth, And their words to the end of the world. In them He has placed a tent for the sun, 5Which is like a groom coming out of his chamber; It rejoices like a strong person to run his course. 6Its rising is from one end of the heavens, And its circuit to the other end of them; And there is nothing hidden from its heat. 7The Law of the Lord is perfect, restoring the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. 8The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. 9The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; The judgments of the Lord are true; they are righteous altogether. 10They are more desirable than gold, yes, than much pure gold; Sweeter also than honey and drippings of the honeycomb. 11Moreover, Your servant is warned by them; In keeping them there is great reward. 12Who can discern his errors? Acquit me of hidden faults. 13Also keep Your servant back from presumptuous sins; Let them not rule over me; Then I will be innocent, And I will be blameless of great wrongdoing. 14May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart Be acceptable in Your sight, Lord, my rock and my Redeemer.King James Version
Chapter 19
2Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. 3There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. 4Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, 5Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. 6His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
7The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
8The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
10More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
12Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.
13Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
14Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Chapter 19
2Day after day they pour out speech; night after night they communicate knowledge. 3There is no speech; there are no words; their voice is not heard. 4Their message has gone out to the whole earth, and their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens he has pitched a tent for the sun. 5It is like a bridegroom coming from his home; it rejoices like an athlete running a course.
6It rises from one end of the heavens and circles to their other end; nothing is hidden from its heat.
7The instruction of the Lord is perfect, renewing one's life; the testimony of the Lord is trustworthy, making the inexperienced wise.
8The precepts of the Lord are right, making the heart glad; the command of the Lord is radiant, making the eyes light up.
9The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever; the ordinances of the Lord are reliable and altogether righteous.
10They are more desirable than gold -- than an abundance of pure gold; and sweeter than honey dripping from a honeycomb.
11In addition, your servant is warned by them, and in keeping them there is an abundant reward.
12Who perceives his unintentional sins? Cleanse me from my hidden faults.
13Moreover, keep your servant from willful sins; do not let them rule me. Then I will be blameless and cleansed from blatant rebellion.
14May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to you, Lord, my rock and my Redeemer.
New Living Translation
Chapter 19
2Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known. 3They speak without a sound or word; their voice is never heard.
4Yet their message has gone throughout the earth, and their words to all the world. God has made a home in the heavens for the sun.
5It bursts forth like a radiant bridegroom after his wedding. It rejoices like a great athlete eager to run the race.
6The sun rises at one end of the heavens and follows its course to the other end. Nothing can hide from its heat.
7The instructions of the Lord are perfect, reviving the soul. The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple.
8The commandments of the Lord are right, bringing joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are clear, giving insight for living.
9Reverence for the Lord is pure, lasting forever. The laws of the Lord are true; each one is fair.
10They are more desirable than gold, even the finest gold. They are sweeter than honey, even honey dripping from the comb.
11They are a warning to your servant, a great reward for those who obey them.
