New American Standard Bible
Chapter 132
1Remember, Lord, in David’s behalf, All his affliction; 2How he swore to the Lord And vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob, 3'I certainly will not enter my house, Nor lie on my bed; 4I will not give sleep to my eyes Or slumber to my eyelids, 5Until I find a place for the Lord, A dwelling place for the Mighty One of Jacob.' 6Behold, we heard about it in Ephrathah, We found it in the field of Jaar. 7Let’s go into His dwelling place; Let’s worship at His footstool. 8Arise, Lord, to Your resting place, You and the ark of Your strength. 9May Your priests be clothed with righteousness, And may Your godly ones sing for joy. 10For the sake of Your servant David, Do not turn away the face of Your anointed.King James Version

Chapter 132
1A song of ascents. Lord, remember David and all the hardships he endured, 2and how he swore an oath to the Lord, making a vow to the Mighty One of Jacob: 3"I will not enter my house or get into my bed, 4I will not allow my eyes to sleep or my eyelids to slumber
5until I find a place for the Lord, a dwelling for the Mighty One of Jacob."
6We heard of the ark in Ephrathah; we found it in the fields of Jaar.
7Let us go to his dwelling place; let us worship at his footstool.
8Rise up, Lord, come to your resting place, you and your powerful ark.
9May your priests be clothed with righteousness, and may your faithful people shout for joy.
New Living Translation
Chapter 132
1Lord, remember David and all that he suffered. 2He made a solemn promise to the Lord. He vowed to the Mighty One of Israel, 3'I will not go home; I will not let myself rest. 4I will not let my eyes sleep nor close my eyelids in slumber 5until I find a place to build a house for the Lord, a sanctuary for the Mighty One of Israel.'
6We heard that the Ark was in Ephrathah; then we found it in the distant countryside of Jaar.
7Let us go to the sanctuary of the Lord; let us worship at the footstool of his throne.
8Arise, O Lord, and enter your resting place, along with the Ark, the symbol of your power.
9May your priests be clothed in godliness; may your loyal servants sing for joy.
10For the sake of your servant David, do not reject the king you have anointed.
