Chapter 119
87They almost destroyed me on earth, But as for me, I did not abandon Your precepts. 88Revive me according to Your faithfulness, So that I may keep the testimony of Your mouth. 89Forever, Lord, Your word stands in heaven. 90Your faithfulness continues throughout generations; You established the earth, and it stands. 91They stand this day by Your ordinances, For all things are Your servants. 92If Your Law had not been my delight, Then I would have perished in my misery. 93I will never forget Your precepts, For by them You have revived me. 94I am Yours, save me; For I have sought Your precepts. 95The wicked wait for me to destroy me; I will diligently consider Your testimonies. 96I have seen a limit to all perfection; Your commandment is exceedingly broad. 97How I love Your Law! It is my meditation all the day. 98Your commandments make me wiser than my enemies, For they are ever mine.King James Version

87They almost ended my life on earth, but I did not abandon your precepts. 88Give me life in accordance with your faithful love, and I will obey the decree you have spoken. 89Lord, your word is forever; it is firmly fixed in heaven. 90Your faithfulness is for all generations; you established the earth, and it stands firm. 91Your judgments stand firm today, for all things are your servants. 92If your instruction had not been my delight, I would have died in my affliction. 93I will never forget your precepts, for you have given me life through them. 94I am yours; save me, for I have studied your precepts. 95The wicked hope to destroy me, but I contemplate your decrees. 96I have seen a limit to all perfection, but your command is without limit. 97How I love your instruction! Chapter 119
87They almost finished me off, but I refused to abandon your commandments. 88In your unfailing love, spare my life; then I can continue to obey your laws.
89Your eternal word, O Lord, stands firm in heaven.
90Your faithfulness extends to every generation, as enduring as the earth you created.
91Your regulations remain true to this day, for everything serves your plans.
92If your instructions hadn’t sustained me with joy, I would have died in my misery.
93I will never forget your commandments, for by them you give me life.
94I am yours; rescue me! For I have worked hard at obeying your commandments.
95Though the wicked hide along the way to kill me, I will quietly keep my mind on your laws.
96Even perfection has its limits, but your commands have no limit.
