Psalms 119:2-18

Chapter 119
2Blessed are those who comply with His testimonies, And seek Him with all their heart. 3They also do no injustice; They walk in His ways. 4You have ordained Your precepts, That we are to keep them diligently. 5Oh that my ways may be established To keep Your statutes! 6Then I will not be ashamed When I look at all Your commandments. 7I will give thanks to You with uprightness of heart, When I learn Your righteous judgments. 8I will keep Your statutes; Do not utterly abandon me! 9How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping it according to Your word. 10With all my heart I have sought You; Do not let me wander from Your commandments. 11I have treasured Your word in my heart, So that I may not sin against You. 12Blessed are You, Lord; Teach me Your statutes. 13With my lips I have told of All the ordinances of Your mouth. 14I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, As much as in all riches. 15I will meditate on Your precepts And regard Your ways. 16I shall delight in Your statutes; I will not forget Your word. 17Deal generously with Your servant, That I may live and keep Your word. 18Open my eyes, that I may behold Wonderful things from Your Law.King James Version
Chapter 119
2Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart. 3They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.
4Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.
5O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!
6Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.
7I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.
8I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.

By keeping your word. 10I have sought you with all my heart; don't let me wander from your commands. 11I have treasured your word in my heart so that I may not sin against you. 12Lord, may you be blessed; teach me your statutes. 13With my lips I proclaim all the judgments from your mouth. 14I rejoice in the way revealed by your decrees as much as in all riches. 15I will meditate on your precepts and think about your ways. 16I will delight in your statutes; I will not forget your word. 17Deal generously with your servant so that I might live; then I will keep your word. 18Open my eyes so that I may contemplate wondrous things from your instruction.New Living Translation
Chapter 119
2Joyful are those who obey his laws and search for him with all their hearts. 3They do not compromise with evil, and they walk only in his paths. 4You have charged us to keep your commandments carefully. 5Oh, that my actions would consistently reflect your decrees! 6Then I will not be ashamed when I compare my life with your commands. 7As I learn your righteous regulations, I will thank you by living as I should! 8I will obey your decrees. Please don’t give up on me!
9How can a young person stay pure? By obeying your word.
10I have tried hard to find you — don’t let me wander from your commands.
11I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.
12I praise you, O Lord; teach me your decrees.
13I have recited aloud all the regulations you have given us.
14I have rejoiced in your laws as much as in riches.
15I will study your commandments and reflect on your ways.
16I will delight in your decrees and not forget your word.

9How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word.
10With my whole heart I seek you; let me not wander from your commandments!
