Chapter 119
157Many are my persecutors and my enemies, Yet I do not turn aside from Your testimonies. 158I see the treacherous and loathe them, Because they do not keep Your word. 159Consider how I love Your precepts; Revive me, Lord, according to Your faithfulness. 160The sum of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous judgments is everlasting. 161Rulers persecute me without cause, But my heart stands in awe of Your words. 162I rejoice at Your word, Like one who finds great plunder. 163I hate and loathe falsehood, But I love Your Law. 164Seven times a day I praise You Because of Your righteous judgments. 165Those who love Your Law have great peace, And nothing causes them to stumble. 166I hope for Your salvation, Lord, And do Your commandments. 167My soul keeps Your testimonies, And I love them exceedingly. 168I keep Your precepts and Your testimonies, For all my ways are before You. 169Let my cry come before You, Lord; Give me understanding according to Your word. 170Let my pleading come before You; Save me according to Your word. 171Let my lips pour out praise, For You teach me Your statutes. 172Let my tongue sing about Your word, For all Your commandments are righteousness. 173Let Your hand be ready to help me, For I have chosen Your precepts. 174I long for Your salvation, Lord, And Your Law is my delight. 175Let my soul live that it may praise You, And let Your ordinances help me.King James Version

157My persecutors and foes are many. I have not turned from your decrees. 158I have seen the disloyal and feel disgust because they do not keep your word. 159Consider how I love your precepts; Lord, give me life according to your faithful love. 160The entirety of your word is truth, each of your righteous judgments endures forever. 161Princes have persecuted me without cause, but my heart fears only your word. 162I rejoice over your promise like one who finds vast treasure. 163I hate and abhor falsehood, but I love your instruction. 164I praise you seven times a day for your righteous judgments. 165Abundant peace belongs to those who love your instruction; nothing makes them stumble. 166Lord, I hope for your salvation and carry out your commands. 167I obey your decrees and love them greatly. 168I obey your precepts and decrees, for all my ways are before you. 169Let my cry reach you, Lord; give me understanding according to your word. 170Let my plea reach you; rescue me according to your promise. 171My lips pour out praise, for you teach me your statutes. 172My tongue sings about your promise, for all your commands are righteous. 173May your hand be ready to help me, for I have chosen your precepts. 174I long for your salvation, Lord, and your instruction is my delight. 175Let me live, and I will praise you; may your judgments help me.New Living Translation
Chapter 119
157Many persecute and trouble me, yet I have not swerved from your laws. 158Seeing these traitors makes me sick at heart, because they care nothing for your word. 159See how I love your commandments, Lord. Give back my life because of your unfailing love. 160The very essence of your words is truth; all your just regulations will stand forever.
161Powerful people harass me without cause, but my heart trembles only at your word.
162I rejoice in your word like one who discovers a great treasure.
163I hate and abhor all falsehood, but I love your instructions.
164I will praise you seven times a day because all your regulations are just.
165Those who love your instructions have great peace and do not stumble.
166I long for your rescue, Lord, so I have obeyed your commands.
167I have obeyed your laws, for I love them very much.
168Yes, I obey your commandments and laws because you know everything I do.
169O Lord, listen to my cry; give me the discerning mind you promised.
170Listen to my prayer; rescue me as you promised.
171Let praise flow from my lips, for you have taught me your decrees.
172Let my tongue sing about your word, for all your commands are right.
173Give me a helping hand, for I have chosen to follow your commandments.
174O Lord, I have longed for your rescue, and your instructions are my delight.
