Chapter 119
136My eyes shed streams of water, Because they do not keep Your Law. 137You are righteous, Lord, And Your judgments are right. 138You have commanded Your testimonies in righteousness And great faithfulness. 139My zeal has consumed me, Because my enemies have forgotten Your words. 140Your word is very pure, Therefore Your servant loves it. 141I am small and despised, Yet I do not forget Your precepts. 142Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, And Your Law is truth. 143Trouble and anguish have come upon me, Yet Your commandments are my delight. 144Your testimonies are righteous forever; Give me understanding that I may live. 145I cried out with all my heart; answer me, Lord! I will comply with Your statutes. 146I cried to You; save me And I shall keep Your testimonies. 147I rise before dawn and cry for help; I wait for Your words. 148My eyes anticipate the night watches, So that I may meditate on Your word. 149Hear my voice according to Your faithfulness; Revive me, Lord, according to Your judgments. 150Those who follow after wickedness approach; They are far from Your Law. 151You are near, Lord, And all Your commandments are truth. 152From long ago I have known from Your testimonies That You have founded them forever.King James Version
137TZADDI. Righteous art thou, O LORD, and upright are thy judgments.
138Thy testimonies that thou hast commanded are righteous and very faithful.
143Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: yet thy commandments are my delights.
144The righteousness of thy testimonies is everlasting: give me understanding, and I shall live.
145KOPH. I cried with my whole heart; hear me, O LORD: I will keep thy statutes.
146I cried unto thee; save me, and I shall keep thy testimonies.
147I prevented the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in thy word.

136My eyes pour out streams of tears because people do not follow your instruction. 137You are righteous, Lord, and your judgments are just. 138The decrees you issue are righteous and altogether trustworthy. 139My anger overwhelms me because my foes forget your words. 140Your word is completely pure, and your servant loves it. 141I am insignificant and despised, but I do not forget your precepts. 142Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and your instruction is true. 143Trouble and distress have overtaken me, but your commands are my delight. 144Your decrees are righteous forever. Give me understanding, and I will live. 145I call with all my heart; answer me, Lord. I will obey your statutes. 146I call to you; save me, and I will keep your decrees. 147I rise before dawn and cry out for help; I put my hope in your word. 148I am awake through each watch of the night to meditate on your promise. 149In keeping with your faithful love, hear my voice. 137O Lord, you are righteous, and your regulations are fair.
138Your laws are perfect and completely trustworthy.
139I am overwhelmed with indignation, for my enemies have disregarded your words.
140Your promises have been thoroughly tested; that is why I love them so much.

143As pressure and stress bear down on me, I find joy in your commands.
