126It is time for the Lord to act, For they have broken Your Law. 127Therefore I love Your commandments Above gold, yes, above pure gold. 128Therefore I carefully follow all Your precepts concerning everything, I hate every false way. 129Your testimonies are wonderful; Therefore my soul complies with them. 130The unfolding of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple. 131I opened my mouth wide and panted, For I longed for Your commandments. 132Turn to me and be gracious to me, As is right for those who love Your name. 133Establish my footsteps in Your word, And do not let any wrongdoing have power over me. 134Redeem me from oppression by man, So that I may keep Your precepts. 135Make Your face shine upon Your servant, And teach me Your statutes. 136My eyes shed streams of water, Because they do not keep Your Law.King James Version

126It is time for the Lord to act, for they have violated your instruction. 127Since I love your commands more than gold, even the purest gold, 128I carefully follow all your precepts and hate every false way. 129Your decrees are wondrous; therefore I obey them. 130The revelation of your words brings light and gives understanding to the inexperienced. 131I open my mouth and pant because I long for your commands. 132Turn to me and be gracious to me, as is your practice toward those who love your name. 133Make my steps steady through your promise; don't let any sin dominate me. 134Redeem me from human oppression, and I will keep your precepts. 135Make your face shine on your servant, and teach me your statutes. 136My eyes pour out streams of tears because people do not follow your instruction.New Living Translation

126Lord, it is time for you to act, for these evil people have violated your instructions. 127Truly, I love your commands more than gold, even the finest gold. 128Each of your commandments is right. That is why I hate every false way.
129Your laws are wonderful. No wonder I obey them!
130The teaching of your word gives light, so even the simple can understand.
131I pant with expectation, longing for your commands.
132Come and show me your mercy, as you do for all who love your name.
133Guide my steps by your word, so I will not be overcome by evil.
134Ransom me from the oppression of evil people; then I can obey your commandments.
135Look upon me with love; teach me your decrees.
136Rivers of tears gush from my eyes because people disobey your instructions.
