Chapter 119
119You have removed all the wicked of the earth like impurities; Therefore I love Your testimonies. 120My flesh trembles from the fear of You, And I am afraid of Your judgments. 121I have done justice and righteousness; Do not leave me to my oppressors. 122Be a guarantor for Your servant for good; Do not let the arrogant oppress me. 123My eyes fail with longing for Your salvation, And for Your righteous word. 124Deal with Your servant according to Your graciousness, And teach me Your statutes. 125I am Your servant; give me understanding, So that I may know Your testimonies. 126It is time for the Lord to act, For they have broken Your Law. 127Therefore I love Your commandments Above gold, yes, above pure gold. 128Therefore I carefully follow all Your precepts concerning everything, I hate every false way. 129Your testimonies are wonderful; Therefore my soul complies with them. 130The unfolding of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple. 131I opened my mouth wide and panted, For I longed for Your commandments. 132Turn to me and be gracious to me, As is right for those who love Your name.King James Version

119Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross: therefore I love thy testimonies. 120My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments.
121AIN. I have done judgment and justice: leave me not to mine oppressors.
122Be surety for thy servant for good: let not the proud oppress me.
124Deal with thy servant according unto thy mercy, and teach me thy statutes.
125I am thy servant; give me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies.

119You skim off the wicked of the earth like scum; no wonder I love to obey your laws! 120I tremble in fear of you; I stand in awe of your regulations.
121Don’t leave me to the mercy of my enemies, for I have done what is just and right.
122Please guarantee a blessing for me. Don’t let the arrogant oppress me!
123My eyes strain to see your rescue, to see the truth of your promise fulfilled.
124I am your servant; deal with me in unfailing love, and teach me your decrees.
125Give discernment to me, your servant; then I will understand your laws.
126Lord, it is time for you to act, for these evil people have violated your instructions.
127Truly, I love your commands more than gold, even the finest gold.
128Each of your commandments is right. That is why I hate every false way.
