Psalms 116:2-6
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 116
2Because He has inclined His ear to me, Therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live. 3The snares of death encompassed me And the terrors of Sheol came upon me; I found distress and sorrow. 4Then I called upon the name of the Lord: 'Please, Lord, save my life!' 5Gracious is the Lord, and righteous; Yes, our God is compassionate. 6The Lord watches over the simple; I was brought low, and He saved me.King James Version

Chapter 116
2Because he bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath! 3Death wrapped its ropes around me; the terrors of the grave overtook me. I saw only trouble and sorrow. 4Then I called on the name of the Lord: 'Please, Lord, save me!' 5How kind the Lord is! How good he is! So merciful, this God of ours! 6The Lord protects those of childlike faith; I was facing death, and he saved me.English Standard Version
