Psalms 10:5-6
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 10
5
His ways succeed at all times;
Yet
Your judgments are on high, out of his sight;
As for all his enemies, he snorts at them.
6
He says to himself, 'I will not be moved;
Throughout the generations I will not be in adversity.'
King James Version
Chapter 10
5
His ways are always grievous; thy judgments
are
far above out of his sight:
as for
all his enemies, he puffeth at them.
6
He hath said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for
I shall
never
be
in adversity.
Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 10
5
His ways are always secure; your lofty judgments have no effect on him; he scoffs at all his adversaries.
6
He says to himself, "I will never be moved -- from generation to generation I will be without calamity."
New Living Translation
Chapter 10
5
Yet they succeed in everything they do.
They do not see your punishment awaiting them.
They sneer at all their enemies.
6
They think, 'Nothing bad will ever happen to us!
We will be free of trouble forever!'
English Standard Version
Chapter 10
5
His ways prosper at all times; your judgments are on high, out of his sight; as for all his foes, he puffs at them.
6
He says in his heart, “I shall not be moved; throughout all generations I shall not meet adversity.”
New International Version
Chapter 10
5
His ways are always prosperous; your laws are rejected by him; he sneers at all his enemies.
6
He says to himself, 'Nothing will ever shake me.' He swears, 'No one will ever do me harm.'
New King James Version
Chapter 10
5
His ways are always prospering;
Your judgments
are
far above, out of his sight;
As for
all his enemies, he sneers at them.

He has said in his heart, “I shall not be moved;
I shall never be in adversity.”
