Psalms 107:8-15
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 107
8They shall give thanks to the Lord for His mercy, And for His wonders to the sons of mankind! 9For He has satisfied the thirsty soul, And He has filled the hungry soul with what is good. 10There were those who lived in darkness and in the shadow of death, Prisoners in misery and chains, 11Because they had rebelled against the words of God And rejected the plan of the Most High. 12Therefore He humbled their heart with labor; They stumbled and there was no one to help. 13Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble; He saved them from their distresses. 14He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death And broke their bands apart. 15They shall give thanks to the Lord for His mercy, And for His wonders to the sons of mankind!King James Version
Chapter 107
8Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men! 9For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness.
10Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron;
11Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High:
12Therefore he brought down their heart with labour; they fell down, and there was none to help.
13Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.
14He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder.
15Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

Chapter 107
8Let them praise the Lord for his great love and for the wonderful things he has done for them. 9For he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.
10Some sat in darkness and deepest gloom, imprisoned in iron chains of misery.
11They rebelled against the words of God, scorning the counsel of the Most High.
12That is why he broke them with hard labor; they fell, and no one was there to help them.
13'Lord, help!' they cried in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress.
14He led them from the darkness and deepest gloom; he snapped their chains.
15Let them praise the Lord for his great love and for the wonderful things he has done for them.

Chapter 107
8Let them thank the LORD for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man! 9For he satisfies the longing soul, and the hungry soul he fills with good things. 10Some sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, prisoners in affliction and in irons, 11for they had rebelled against the words of God, and spurned the counsel of the Most High. 12So he bowed their hearts down with hard labor; they fell down, with none to help. 13Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them from their distress. 14He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and burst their bonds apart. 15Let them thank the LORD for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man!New International Version
Chapter 107
8Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind,
9for he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things.
10Some sat in darkness, in utter darkness, prisoners suffering in iron chains,
11because they rebelled against God's commands and despised the plans of the Most High.
12So he subjected them to bitter labor; they stumbled, and there was no one to help.
13Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress.
14He brought them out of darkness, the utter darkness, and broke away their chains.
15Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind,
