Chapter 107
30Then they were glad because they were quiet, So He guided them to their desired harbor. 31They shall give thanks to the Lord for His mercy, And for His wonders to the sons of mankind! 32They shall also exalt Him in the congregation of the people, And praise Him at the seat of the elders. 33He turns rivers into a wilderness, And springs of water into a thirsty ground; 34 And a fruitful land into a salt waste, Because of the wickedness of those who dwell in it. 35He turns a wilderness into a pool of water, And a dry land into springs of water; 36And He has the hungry live there, So that they may establish an inhabited city, 37And sow fields and plant vineyards, And gather a fruitful harvest.King James Version

30They rejoiced when the waves grew quiet. Then he guided them to the harbor they longed for. 31Let them give thanks to the Lord for his faithful love and his wondrous works for all humanity.
32Let them exalt him in the assembly of the people and praise him in the council of the elders.
33He turns rivers into desert, springs into thirsty ground,
34and fruitful land into salty wasteland, because of the wickedness of its inhabitants.
35He turns a desert into a pool, dry land into springs.
36He causes the hungry to settle there, and they establish a city where they can live.
37They sow fields and plant vineyards that yield a fruitful harvest.

Chapter 107
30What a blessing was that stillness as he brought them safely into harbor! 31Let them praise the Lord for his great love and for the wonderful things he has done for them. 32Let them exalt him publicly before the congregation and before the leaders of the nation.
33He changes rivers into deserts, and springs of water into dry, thirsty land.
34He turns the fruitful land into salty wastelands, because of the wickedness of those who live there.
35But he also turns deserts into pools of water, the dry land into springs of water.
36He brings the hungry to settle there and to build their cities.
37They sow their fields, plant their vineyards, and harvest their bumper crops.

30Then they were glad that the waters were quiet, and he brought them to their desired haven. 31 Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man! 32Let them extol him in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders. 33He turns rivers into a desert, springs of water into thirsty ground, 34 a fruitful land into a salty waste, because of the evil of its inhabitants. 35He turns a desert into pools of water, a parched land into springs of water. 36And there he lets the hungry dwell, and they establish a city to live in; 37they sow fields and plant vineyards and get a fruitful yield.New International Version
