Psalms 102:3-7
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 102
3For my days have ended in smoke, And my bones have been scorched like a hearth. 4My heart has been struck like grass and has withered, Indeed, I forget to eat my bread. 5Because of the loudness of my groaning My bones cling to my flesh. 6I resemble a pelican of the wilderness; I have become like an owl of the ruins. 7I lie awake, I have become like a solitary bird on a housetop.King James Version

3For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as an hearth. 4My heart is smitten, and withered like grass; so that I forget to eat my bread. 5By reason of the voice of my groaning my bones cleave to my skin. 6I am like a pelican of the wilderness: I am like an owl of the desert. 7I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top.Christian Standard Bible

3For my days disappear like smoke, and my bones burn like red-hot coals. 4My heart is sick, withered like grass, and I have lost my appetite. 5Because of my groaning, I am reduced to skin and bones. 6I am like an owl in the desert, like a little owl in a far-off wilderness. 7I lie awake, lonely as a solitary bird on the roof.English Standard Version
