Psalms 101:3-7
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 101
3I will set no worthless thing before my eyes; I hate the work of those who fall away; It shall not cling to me. 4A perverse heart shall leave me; I will know no evil. 5Whoever secretly slanders his neighbor, him I will destroy; I will not endure one who has a haughty look and an arrogant heart. 6My eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; One who walks in a blameless way is one who will serve me. 7One who practices deceit shall not dwell within my house; One who speaks lies shall not maintain his position before me.King James Version
Chapter 101
3I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me. 4A froward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person. 5Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer. 6Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me. 7He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight.Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 101
3I will not let anything worthless guide me. I hate the practice of transgression; it will not cling to me.
4A devious heart will be far from me; I will not be involved with evil.
5I will destroy anyone who secretly slanders his neighbor; I cannot tolerate anyone with haughty eyes or an arrogant heart.
6My eyes favor the faithful of the land so that they may sit down with me. The one who follows the way of integrity may serve me.
7No one who acts deceitfully will live in my palace; the one who tells lies will not be retained here to guide me.
