Chapter 101

5Whoever secretly slanders his neighbor, him I will destroy; I will not endure one who has a haughty look and an arrogant heart. 6My eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; One who walks in a blameless way is one who will serve me.

5Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.
6Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me.

5I will destroy anyone who secretly slanders his neighbor; I cannot tolerate anyone with haughty eyes or an arrogant heart. 6My eyes favor the faithful of the land so that they may sit down with me. The one who follows the way of integrity may serve me.

5I will not tolerate people who slander their neighbors. I will not endure conceit and pride.
6I will search for faithful people to be my companions. Only those who are above reproach will be allowed to serve me.
