Chapter 101

4A perverse heart shall leave me; I will know no evil. 5Whoever secretly slanders his neighbor, him I will destroy; I will not endure one who has a haughty look and an arrogant heart. 6My eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; One who walks in a blameless way is one who will serve me.

4A froward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person.
5Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.

4A devious heart will be far from me; I will not be involved with evil. 5I will destroy anyone who secretly slanders his neighbor; I cannot tolerate anyone with haughty eyes or an arrogant heart. 6My eyes favor the faithful of the land so that they may sit down with me. The one who follows the way of integrity may serve me.
