Chapter 101

1I will sing of mercy and justice; To You, Lord, I will sing praises. 2I will carefully attend to the blameless way. When will You come to me? I will walk within my house in the integrity of my heart. 3I will set no worthless thing before my eyes; I hate the work of those who fall away; It shall not cling to me. 4A perverse heart shall leave me; I will know no evil. 5Whoever secretly slanders his neighbor, him I will destroy; I will not endure one who has a haughty look and an arrogant heart.

Chapter 101

1A Psalm of David. I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O Lord, will I sing.
2I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.
3I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.
4A froward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person.
5Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.

Chapter 101

1A psalm of David. I will sing of faithful love and justice; I will sing praise to you, Lord. 2I will pay attention to the way of integrity. When will you come to me? I will live with a heart of integrity in my house. 3I will not let anything worthless guide me. I hate the practice of transgression; it will not cling to me.
4A devious heart will be far from me; I will not be involved with evil. 5I will destroy anyone who secretly slanders his neighbor; I cannot tolerate anyone with haughty eyes or an arrogant heart.

1I will sing of your love and justice, Lord. I will praise you with songs. 2I will be careful to live a blameless life — when will you come to help me?
