Chapter 24

60And they blessed Rebekah and said to her, 'May you, our sister, Become thousands of ten thousands, And may your descendants possess The gate of those who hate them.'
61Then Rebekah got up with her female attendants, and they mounted the camels and followed the man. So the servant took Rebekah and departed.
62Now Isaac had come back from a journey to Beer-lahai-roi; for he was living in the Negev. 63Isaac went out to meditate in the field toward evening; and he raised his eyes and looked, and behold, camels were coming. 64Rebekah raised her eyes, and when she saw Isaac, she dismounted from the camel. 65She said to the servant, 'Who is that man walking in the field to meet us?' And the servant said, 'He is my master.' Then she took her veil and covered herself.

60And they blessed Rebekah, and said unto her, Thou art our sister, be thou the mother of thousands of millions, and let thy seed possess the gate of those which hate them. 61And Rebekah arose, and her damsels, and they rode upon the camels, and followed the man: and the servant took Rebekah, and went his way.
62And Isaac came from the way of the well Lahairoi; for he dwelt in the south country. 63And Isaac went out to meditate in the field at the eventide: and he lifted up his eyes, and saw, and, behold, the camels were coming. 64And Rebekah lifted up her eyes, and when she saw Isaac, she lighted off the camel. 65For she had said unto the servant, What man is this that walketh in the field to meet us? And the servant had said, It is my master: therefore she took a vail, and covered herself.

61Then Rebekah and her female servants got up, mounted the camels, and followed the man. So the servant took Rebekah and left.
62Now Isaac was returning from Beer-lahai-roi, for he was living in the Negev region. 63In the early evening Isaac went out to walk in the field, and looking up he saw camels coming. 64Rebekah looked up, and when she saw Isaac, she got down from her camel
65and asked the servant, "Who is that man in the field coming to meet us? "The servant answered, "It is my master." So she took her veil and covered herself.

Chapter 24

60They gave her this blessing as she parted: 'Our sister, may you become the mother of many millions! May your descendants be strong and conquer the cities of their enemies.'
61Then Rebekah and her servant girls mounted the camels and followed the man. So Abraham’s servant took Rebekah and went on his way.
62Meanwhile, Isaac, whose home was in the Negev, had returned from Beer-lahai-roi. 63One evening as he was walking and meditating in the fields, he looked up and saw the camels coming. 64When Rebekah looked up and saw Isaac, she quickly dismounted from her camel.
65Who is that man walking through the fields to meet us?' she asked the servant. And he replied, 'It is my master.' So Rebekah covered her face with her veil.
