The high priest then questioned Jesus about His disciples, and about His teaching.

Jesus answered him, 'I have spoken openly to the world; I always taught in synagogues and in the temple

where all the Jews congregate; and I said nothing in secret.

The high priest then asked Jesus of his disciples, and of his doctrine.

Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing.

"I have spoken openly to the world," Jesus answered him. "I have always taught in the synagogue and in the temple, where all the Jews congregate, and I haven’t spoken anything in secret.

Inside, the high priest began asking Jesus about his followers and what he had been teaching them.

Jesus replied, 'Everyone knows what I teach. I have preached regularly in the synagogues and the Temple, where the people gather. I have not spoken in secret.
