10Now David’s heart troubled him after he had counted the people. So David said to the Lord, 'I have sinned greatly in what I have done. But now, Lord, please overlook the guilt of Your servant, for I have acted very foolishly.' 11When David got up in the morning, the word of the Lord came to Gad the prophet, David’s seer, saying, 12Go and speak to David, ‘This is what the Lord says: 'I am imposing upon you three choices; choose for yourself one of them, and I will do it to you.'?’?'King James Version

And David said unto the LORD, I have sinned greatly in that I have done: and now, I beseech thee, O LORD, take away the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly. 11For when David was up in the morning, the word of the LORD came unto the prophet Gad, David's seer, saying, 12Go and say unto David, Thus saith the LORD, I offer thee three things; choose thee one of them, that I may do it unto thee.Christian Standard Bible
