John 19:11-14
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 19
11Jesus answered him, 'You would have no authority over Me at all, if it had not been given to you from above; for this reason the one who handed Me over to you has the greater sin.' 12As a result of this, Pilate made efforts to release Him; but the Jews shouted, saying, 'If you release this Man, you are not a friend of Caesar; everyone who makes himself out to be a king opposes Caesar!'King James Version
Chapter 19
11Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin. 12And from thenceforth Pilate sought to release him: but the Jews cried out, saying, If thou let this man go, thou art not Caesar's friend: whosoever maketh himself a king speaketh against Caesar.Christian Standard Bible
New Living Translation
13When they said this, Pilate brought Jesus out to them again. Then Pilate sat down on the judgment seat on the platform that is called the Stone Pavement (in Hebrew, Gabbatha).
14It was now about noon on the day of preparation for the Passover. And Pilate said to the people, 'Look, here is your king!'
English Standard Version
12From then on Pilate sought to release him, but the Jews cried out, "If you release this man, you are not Caesar 's friend. Everyone who makes himself a king opposes Caesar."
13So when Pilate heard these words, he brought Jesus out and sat down on the judgment seat at a place called The Stone Pavement, and in Aramaic Gabbatha.
14Now it was the day of Preparation of the Passover. It was about the sixth hour. He said to the Jews, "Behold your King!"
