And Nathan said to David, Thou
art
the man. Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul;

Because he has done this thing and shown no pity, he must pay four lambs for that lamb."

Nathan replied to David, "You are the man! This is what the Lord God of Israel says: 'I anointed you king over Israel, and I rescued you from Saul.

He must repay four lambs to the poor man for the one he stole and for having no pity.'

, the God of Israel, says: I anointed you king of Israel and saved you from the power of Saul.
