Chapter 8

58Jesus said to them, 'Truly, truly I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am.' 59Therefore they picked up stones to throw at Him, but Jesus hid Himself and left the temple grounds.

58Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. 59Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

59So they picked up stones to throw at him. But Jesus was hidden and went out of the temple.
