Chapter 8
26I have many things to say and to judge regarding you, but He who sent Me is true; and the things which I heard from Him, these I say to the world.' 27They did not realize that He was speaking to them about the Father. 28So Jesus said, 'When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am, and I do nothing on My own, but I say these things as the Father instructed Me. 29And He who sent Me is with Me; He has not left Me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to Him.'King James Version

26I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him. 27They understood not that he spake to them of the Father. 28Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things. 29And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.Christian Standard Bible
27They did not know he was speaking to them about the Father.
28So Jesus said to them, "When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he, and that I do nothing on my own. But just as the Father taught me, I say these things.
29The one who sent me is with me. He has not left me alone, because I always do what pleases him."
