Chapter 3

7Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ 8The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it is coming from and where it is going; so is everyone who has been born of the Spirit.'
9Nicodemus responded and said to Him, 'How can these things be?' 10Jesus answered and said to him, 'You are the teacher of Israel, and yet you do not understand these things?

8The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. 9Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be? 10Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things

10Jesus replied, 'You are a respected Jewish teacher, and yet you don’t understand these things?
