Chapter 22
7In my distress I called upon the Lord, Yes, I called out to my God; And from His temple He heard my voice, And my cry for help came into His ears. 8Then the earth shook and quaked, The foundations of heaven were trembling And were shaken, because He was angry. 9Smoke went up out of His nostrils, And fire from His mouth was devouring; Coals were kindled by it. 10He also bowed the heavens down low, and came down With thick darkness under His feet. 11He rode on a cherub and flew; He appeared on the wings of the wind. 12He made darkness canopies around Him, A mass of waters, thick clouds of the sky. 13From the brightness before Him Coals of fire were kindled. 14The Lord thundered from heaven, And the Most High uttered His voice. 15And He shot arrows and scattered them, Lightning, and routed them. 16Then the channels of the sea appeared, The foundations of the world were exposed By the rebuke of the Lord, From the blast of the breath of His nostrils. 17He sent from on high, He took me; He drew me out of many waters. 18He rescued me from my strong enemy, From those who hated me, for they were too strong for me. 19They confronted me on the day of my disaster, But the Lord was my support. 20He also brought me out into an open place; He rescued me, because He delighted in me. 21The Lord has treated me in accordance with my righteousness; In accordance with the cleanliness of my hands He has repaid me. 22For I have kept the ways of the Lord, And have not acted wickedly against my God. 23For all His ordinances were before me, And as for His statutes, I did not deviate from them. 24I was also blameless toward Him, And I have kept myself from my wrongdoing. 25So the Lord has repaid me in accordance with my righteousness, In accordance with my cleanliness before His eyes. 26With the one who is faithful You show Yourself faithful, With the blameless one You prove Yourself blameless;King James Version

7In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into his ears. 8Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth. 9There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it. 10He bowed the heavens also, and came down; and darkness was under his feet. 11And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: and he was seen upon the wings of the wind. 12And he made darkness pavilions round about him, dark waters, and thick clouds of the skies. 13Through the brightness before him were coals of fire kindled. 14The LORD thundered from heaven, and the most High uttered his voice. 15And he sent out arrows, and scattered them; lightning, and discomfited them. 16And the channels of the sea appeared, the foundations of the world were discovered, at the rebuking of the LORD, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils. 17He sent from above, he took me; he drew me out of many waters; 18He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them that hated me: for they were too strong for me. 19They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay. 20He brought me forth also into a large place: he delivered me, because he delighted in me. 21The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness: according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me. 22For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God. 23For all his judgments were before me: and as for his statutes, I did not depart from them. 24I was also upright before him, and have kept myself from mine iniquity. 25Therefore the LORD hath recompensed me according to my righteousness; according to my cleanness in his eye sight. 26With the merciful thou wilt shew thyself merciful, and with the upright man thou wilt shew thyself upright.Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 22
7I called to the Lord in my distress; I called to my God. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry for help reached his ears. 8Then the earth shook and quaked; the foundations of the heavens trembled; they shook because he burned with anger. 9Smoke rose from his nostrils, and consuming fire came from his mouth; coals were set ablaze by it. 10He bent the heavens and came down, total darkness beneath his feet. 11He rode on a cherub and flew, soaring on the wings of the wind. 12He made darkness a canopy around him, a gathering of water and thick clouds. 13From the radiance of his presence, blazing coals were ignited. 14The Lord thundered from heaven; the Most High made his voice heard. 15He shot arrows and scattered them; he hurled lightning bolts and routed them.
16The depths of the sea became visible, the foundations of the world were exposed at the rebuke of the Lord, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.
17He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he pulled me out of deep water.
18He rescued me from my powerful enemy and from those who hated me, for they were too strong for me.
19They confronted me in the day of my calamity, but the Lord was my support.
20He brought me out to a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me.
21The Lord rewarded me according to my righteousness; he repaid me according to the cleanness of my hands.
22For I have kept the ways of the Lord and have not turned from my God to wickedness.
23Indeed, I let all his ordinances guide me and have not disregarded his statutes.
24I was blameless before him and kept myself from my iniquity.

8'Then the earth quaked and trembled. The foundations of the heavens shook; they quaked because of his anger.
9Smoke poured from his nostrils; fierce flames leaped from his mouth. Glowing coals blazed forth from him.
10He opened the heavens and came down; dark storm clouds were beneath his feet.
11Mounted on a mighty angelic being, he flew, soaring on the wings of the wind.
12He shrouded himself in darkness, veiling his approach with dense rain clouds.
13A great brightness shone around him, and burning coals blazed forth.
14The Lord thundered from heaven; the voice of the Most High resounded.
15He shot arrows and scattered his enemies; his lightning flashed, and they were confused.
16Then at the command of the Lord, at the blast of his breath, the bottom of the sea could be seen, and the foundations of the earth were laid bare.
17'He reached down from heaven and rescued me; he drew me out of deep waters.
18He rescued me from my powerful enemies, from those who hated me and were too strong for me.
19They attacked me at a moment when I was in distress, but the Lord supported me.
20He led me to a place of safety; he rescued me because he delights in me.
21The Lord rewarded me for doing right; he restored me because of my innocence.
22For I have kept the ways of the Lord; I have not turned from my God to follow evil.
23I have followed all his regulations; I have never abandoned his decrees.
24I am blameless before God; I have kept myself from sin.
25The Lord rewarded me for doing right. He has seen my innocence.

From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came to his ears. 8The earth trembled and quaked, the foundations of the heavens shook; they trembled because he was angry. 9Smoke rose from his nostrils; consuming fire came from his mouth, burning coals blazed out of it. 10He parted the heavens and came down; dark clouds were under his feet. 11He mounted the cherubim and flew; he soared on the wings of the wind. 12He made darkness his canopy around him-- the dark rain clouds of the sky. 13Out of the brightness of his presence bolts of lightning blazed forth. 14The LORD thundered from heaven; the voice of the Most High resounded. 15He shot his arrows and scattered the enemy, with great bolts of lightning he routed them.
16The valleys of the sea were exposed and the foundations of the earth laid bare at the rebuke of the LORD, at the blast of breath from his nostrils.
17He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters.
18He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me.
19They confronted me in the day of my disaster, but the LORD was my support.
20He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me.
21The LORD has dealt with me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands he has rewarded me.
22For I have kept the ways of the LORD; I am not guilty of turning from my God.
23All his laws are before me; I have not turned away from his decrees.
24I have been blameless before him and have kept myself from sin.
