2 Samuel 22:28-34
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 22
28And You save an afflicted people; But Your eyes are on the haughty whom You humiliate. 29For You are my lamp, Lord; And the Lord illuminates my darkness. 30For by You I can run at a troop of warriors; By my God I can leap over a wall. 31As for God, His way is blameless; The word of the Lord is refined; He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him. 32For who is God, except the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God? 33God is my strong fortress; And He sets the blameless on His way. 34He makes my feet like deer’s feet, And sets me on my high places.King James Version
Chapter 22
28And the afflicted people thou wilt save: but thine eyes are upon the haughty, that thou mayest bring them down. 29For thou art my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness. 30For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall. 31As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. 32For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a rock, save our God? 33God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect. 34He maketh my feet like hinds' feet: and setteth me upon my high places.Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 22
28You rescue an oppressed people, but your eyes are set against the proud -- you humble them. 29Lord, you are my lamp; the Lord illuminates my darkness. 30With you I can attack a barricade, and with my God I can leap over a wall.
31God--his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is pure. He is a shield to all who take refuge in him.
32For who is God besides the Lord? And who is a rock? Only our God.
33God is my strong refuge; he makes my way perfect.
34He makes my feet like the feet of a deer and sets me securely on the heights.
New Living Translation
Chapter 22
28You rescue the humble, but your eyes watch the proud and humiliate them. 29O Lord, you are my lamp. The Lord lights up my darkness. 30In your strength I can crush an army; with my God I can scale any wall.
31'God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection.
32For who is God except the Lord? Who but our God is a solid rock?
33God is my strong fortress, and he makes my way perfect.
34He makes me as surefooted as a deer, enabling me to stand on mountain heights.

Chapter 22
28You save the humble, but your eyes are on the haughty to bring them low. 29You, LORD, are my lamp; the LORD turns my darkness into light.
30With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall.
31As for God, his way is perfect: The LORD's word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.
32For who is God besides the LORD? And who is the Rock except our God?
33It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure.
34He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he causes me to stand on the heights.
