Chapter 22
27With the one who is pure You show Yourself pure, But with the perverted You show Yourself astute. 28And You save an afflicted people; But Your eyes are on the haughty whom You humiliate. 29For You are my lamp, Lord; And the Lord illuminates my darkness. 30For by You I can run at a troop of warriors; By my God I can leap over a wall. 31As for God, His way is blameless; The word of the Lord is refined; He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him. 32For who is God, except the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God? 33God is my strong fortress; And He sets the blameless on His way. 34He makes my feet like deer’s feet, And sets me on my high places. 35He trains my hands for battle, So that my arms can bend a bow of bronze. 36You have also given me the shield of Your salvation, And Your help makes me great. 37You enlarge my steps under me, And my feet have not slipped. 38I pursued my enemies and eliminated them, And I did not turn back until they were finished off. 39And I have devoured them and smashed them, so that they would not rise; And they fell under my feet. 40For You have encircled me with strength for battle; You have forced those who rose up against me to bow down under me. 41You have also made my enemies turn their backs to me, And I destroyed those who hated me. 42They looked, but there was no one to save them; Even to the Lord, but He did not answer them.King James Version

27With the pure thou wilt shew thyself pure; and with the froward thou wilt shew thyself unsavoury. 28And the afflicted people thou wilt save: but thine eyes are upon the haughty, that thou mayest bring them down. 29For thou art my lamp, O LORD: and the LORD will lighten my darkness. 30For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall. 31As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. 32For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a rock, save our God? 33God is my strength and power: and he maketh my way perfect. 34He maketh my feet like hinds' feet: and setteth me upon my high places. 35He teacheth my hands to war; so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms. 36Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy gentleness hath made me great. 37Thou hast enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet did not slip. 38I have pursued mine enemies, and destroyed them; and turned not again until I had consumed them. 39And I have consumed them, and wounded them, that they could not arise: yea, they are fallen under my feet. 40For thou hast girded me with strength to battle: them that rose up against me hast thou subdued under me. 41Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies, that I might destroy them that hate me. 42They looked, but there was none to save; even unto the LORD, but he answered them not.Christian Standard Bible

27with the pure you prove yourself pure, but with the crooked you prove yourself shrewd. 28You rescue an oppressed people, but your eyes are set against the proud -- you humble them. 29Lord, you are my lamp; the Lord illuminates my darkness. 30With you I can attack a barricade, and with my God I can leap over a wall.
31God--his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is pure. He is a shield to all who take refuge in him.
32For who is God besides the Lord? And who is a rock? Only our God.
33God is my strong refuge; he makes my way perfect.
34He makes my feet like the feet of a deer and sets me securely on the heights.
35He trains my hands for war; my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
36You have given me the shield of your salvation; your help exalts me.
37You make a spacious place beneath me for my steps, and my ankles do not give way.
38I pursue my enemies and destroy them; I do not turn back until they are wiped out.
39I wipe them out and crush them, and they do not rise; they fall beneath my feet.
40You have clothed me with strength for battle; you subdue my adversaries beneath me.
41You have made my enemies retreat before me; I annihilate those who hate me.
42They look, but there is no one to save them -- they look to the Lord, but he does not answer them.

Chapter 22
27To the pure you show yourself pure, but to the crooked you show yourself shrewd. 28You rescue the humble, but your eyes watch the proud and humiliate them. 29O Lord, you are my lamp. The Lord lights up my darkness. 30In your strength I can crush an army; with my God I can scale any wall.
31'God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection.
32For who is God except the Lord? Who but our God is a solid rock?
33God is my strong fortress, and he makes my way perfect.
34He makes me as surefooted as a deer, enabling me to stand on mountain heights.
35He trains my hands for battle; he strengthens my arm to draw a bronze bow.
36You have given me your shield of victory; your help has made me great.
37You have made a wide path for my feet to keep them from slipping.
38'I chased my enemies and destroyed them; I did not stop until they were conquered.
39I consumed them; I struck them down so they did not get up; they fell beneath my feet.
40You have armed me with strength for the battle; you have subdued my enemies under my feet.
41You placed my foot on their necks. I have destroyed all who hated me.
42They looked for help, but no one came to their rescue. They even cried to the Lord, but he refused to answer.
