Chapter 22

48The God who executes vengeance for me, And brings down peoples under me, 49Who also brings me out from my enemies; You also raise me above those who rise up against me; You rescue me from the violent person. 50Therefore I will give thanks to You, Lord, among the nations, And I will sing praises to Your name.

48It is God that avengeth me, and that bringeth down the people under me,
49And that bringeth me forth from mine enemies: thou also hast lifted me up on high above them that rose up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.

48God—he grants me vengeance and casts down peoples under me.
