Chapter 22

45Foreigners pretend to obey me; As soon as they hear, they obey me. 46Foreigners lose heart, And come trembling out of their fortresses. 47The Lord lives, and blessed be my Rock; And exalted be my God, the rock of my salvation, 48The God who executes vengeance for me, And brings down peoples under me, 49Who also brings me out from my enemies; You also raise me above those who rise up against me; You rescue me from the violent person. 50Therefore I will give thanks to You, Lord, among the nations, And I will sing praises to Your name.

Chapter 22

45Strangers shall submit themselves unto me: as soon as they hear, they shall be obedient unto me.
46Strangers shall fade away, and they shall be afraid out of their close places.
47The Lord liveth; and blessed be my rock; and exalted be the God of the rock of my salvation.
48It is God that avengeth me, and that bringeth down the people under me,
49And that bringeth me forth from mine enemies: thou also hast lifted me up on high above them that rose up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
50Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O Lord, among the heathen, and I will sing praises unto thy name.

45Foreigners submit to me cringing; as soon as they hear, they obey me.
46Foreigners lose heart and come trembling from their fortifications. 47The Lord lives—blessed be my rock! God, the rock of my salvation, is exalted. 48God—he grants me vengeance and casts down peoples under me.
49He frees me from my enemies. You exalt me above my adversaries; you rescue me from violent men. 50Therefore I will give thanks to you among the nations, Lord; I will sing praises about your name.

45Foreign nations cringe before me; as soon as they hear of me, they submit. 46They all lose their courage and come trembling from their strongholds.
47'The Lord lives! Praise to my Rock! May God, the Rock of my salvation, be exalted! 48He is the God who pays back those who harm me; he brings down the nations under me 49and delivers me from my enemies. You hold me safe beyond the reach of my enemies; you save me from violent opponents. 50For this, O Lord, I will praise you among the nations; I will sing praises to your name.
