Chapter 19

28For all my father’s household was only people worthy of death to my lord the king; yet you placed your servant among those who ate at your own table. So what right do I still have, that I should complain anymore to the king?' 29So the king said to him, 'Why do you still speak of your affairs? I have decided, ‘You and Ziba shall divide the land.’?' 30And Mephibosheth said to the king, 'Let him even take it all, since my lord the king has come safely to his own house.'
31Now Barzillai the Gileadite had come down from Rogelim; and he went on to the Jordan with the king to escort him over the Jordan. 32Barzillai was very old: eighty years old; and he had provided the king food while he stayed in Mahanaim, for he was a very great man.

28For all of my father's house were but dead men before my lord the king: yet didst thou set thy servant among them that did eat at thine own table. What right therefore have I yet to cry any more unto the king? 29And the king said unto him, Why speakest thou any more of thy matters? I have said, Thou and Ziba divide the land. 30And Mephibosheth said unto the king, Yea, let him take all, forasmuch as my lord the king is come again in peace unto his own house.
31And Barzillai the Gileadite came down from Rogelim, and went over Jordan with the king, to conduct him over Jordan. 32Now Barzillai was a very aged man, even fourscore years old: and he had provided the king of sustenance while he lay at Mahanaim; for he was a very great man.

Chapter 19

28For my grandfather's entire family deserves death from my lord the king, but you set your servant among those who eat at your table. So what further right do I have to keep on making appeals to the king? "
29The king said to him, "Why keep on speaking about these matters of yours? I hereby declare: you and Ziba are to divide the land."
30Mephibosheth said to the king, "Instead, since my lord the king has come to his palace safely, let Ziba take it all! "
31Barzillai the Gileadite had come down from Rogelim and accompanied the king to the Jordan River to see him off at the Jordan. 32Barzillai was a very old man--eighty years old--and since he was a very wealthy man, he had provided for the needs of the king while he stayed in Mahanaim.

Chapter 19

28All my relatives and I could expect only death from you, my lord, but instead you have honored me by allowing me to eat at your own table! What more can I ask?'
29You’ve said enough,' David replied. 'I’ve decided that you and Ziba will divide your land equally between you.'
30Give him all of it,' Mephibosheth said. 'I am content just to have you safely back again, my lord the king!'
31Barzillai of Gilead had come down from Rogelim to escort the king across the Jordan. 32He was very old — eighty years of age — and very wealthy. He was the one who had provided food for the king during his stay in Mahanaim.

30Mephibosheth said to the king, 'Let him take everything, now that my lord the king has returned home safely.'
31Barzillai the Gileadite also came down from Rogelim to cross the Jordan with the king and to send him on his way from there. 32Now Barzillai was very old, eighty years of age. He had provided for the king during his stay in Mahanaim, for he was a very wealthy man.
