The king also said to Zadok the priest, 'Are you

a seer? Return to the city in peace, and your two sons with you, your son Ahimaaz and Jonathan the son of Abiathar.

But if he thus say, I have no delight in thee; behold,
here am
I, let him do to me as seemeth good unto him.
27
The king said also unto Zadok the priest,
Art not
thou a seer? return into the city in peace, and your two sons with you, Ahimaaz thy son, and Jonathan the son of Abiathar.

However, if he should say, 'I do not delight in you,' then here I am--he can do with me whatever pleases him."
27
The king also said to the priest Zadok, "Look, return to the city in peace and your two sons with you: your son Ahimaaz and Abiathar's son Jonathan.
New Living Translation
Chapter 15

But if he is through with me, then let him do what seems best to him.'
27
The king also told Zadok the priest, 'Look, here is my plan. You and Abiathar should return quietly to the city with your son Ahimaaz and Abiathar’s son Jonathan.

The king also said to Zadok the priest, “Are you not a seer? Go back to the city in peace, with your two sons, Ahimaaz your son, and Jonathan the son of Abiathar.

But if he says, 'I am not pleased with you,' then I am ready; let him do to me whatever seems good to him.'
27
The king also said to Zadok the priest, 'Do you understand? Go back to the city with my blessing. Take your son Ahimaaz with you, and also Abiathar's son Jonathan. You and Abiathar return with your two sons.
