who had come to hear Him and to be healed of their diseases; and those who were troubled by unclean spirits were being cured.

And all the people were trying to touch Him, because power was coming from Him and healing
them
all.

And He raised His eyes toward His disciples and
began
saying, 'Blessed
are
you who are poor, for yours is the kingdom of God.
21
Blessed
are
you who are hungry now, for you will be satisfied. Blessed
are
you who weep now, for you will laugh.

And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed

And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed

that hunger now: for ye shall be filled. Blessed

that weep now: for ye shall laugh.

The whole crowd was trying to touch him, because power was coming out from him and healing them all.

Then looking up at his disciples, he said: Blessed are you who are poor, because the kingdom of God is yours.

Blessed are you who are hungry now, because you will be filled. Blessed are you who weep now, because you will laugh.

They had come to hear him and to be healed of their diseases; and those troubled by evil spirits were healed.

Everyone tried to touch him, because healing power went out from him, and he healed everyone.

Then Jesus turned to his disciples and said,
'God blesses you who are poor,
for the Kingdom of God is yours.

God blesses you who are hungry now,
for you will be satisfied.
God blesses you who weep now,
for in due time you will laugh.
