Who can forgive sins, except God alone?' 22But Jesus, aware of their thoughts, responded and said to them, 'Why are you thinking this way in your hearts? 23Which is easier, to say: ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Get up and walk’? 24But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins,' He said to the man who was paralyzed, 'I say to you, get up, and pick up your stretcher, and go home.'King James Version

Who can forgive sins, but God alone? 22But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts? 23Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk? 24But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.Christian Standard Bible
22But perceiving their thoughts, Jesus replied to them, "Why are you thinking this in your hearts?
23Which is easier: to say, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Get up and walk'?

New Living Translation
22Jesus knew what they were thinking, so he asked them, 'Why do you question this in your hearts?
23Is it easier to say ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or ‘Stand up and walk’?
