John 7:17-21
New American Standard Bible
King James Version
Chapter 7
17If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself. 18He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. 19Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me? 20The people answered and said, Thou hast a devil: who goeth about to kill thee? 21Jesus answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and ye all marvel.Christian Standard Bible
Chapter 7
17If anyone wants to do his will, he will know whether the teaching is from God or whether I am speaking on my own. 18The one who speaks on his own seeks his own glory; but he who seeks the glory of the one who sent him is true, and there is no unrighteousness in him. 19Didn't Moses give you the law? Yet none of you keeps the law. Why are you trying to kill me? "New Living Translation

In fact, you are trying to kill me.'English Standard Version

Yet none of you keeps the law. Why do you seek to kill me?” 20The crowd answered, “You have a demon! Chapter 7
17Anyone who chooses to do the will of God will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own. 18Whoever speaks on their own does so to gain personal glory, but he who seeks the glory of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him. 19Has not Moses given you the law? Yet not one of you keeps the law. Why are you trying to kill me?'New King James Version
