John 7:11-17
New American Standard Bible
Chapter 7
11So the Jews were looking for Him at the feast and saying, 'Where is He?' 12And there was a great deal of talk about Him in secret among the crowds: some were saying, 'He is a good man'; others were saying, 'No, on the contrary, He is misleading the people.' 13However, no one was speaking openly about Him, for fear of the Jews.
14But when it was now the middle of the feast, Jesus went up into the temple area, and began to teach.
15The Jews then were astonished, saying, 'How has this man become learned, not having been educated?'
16So Jesus answered them and said, 'My teaching is not My own, but His who sent Me.
17If anyone is willing to do His will, he will know about the teaching, whether it is of God, or I am speaking from Myself.

Chapter 7
11Then the Jews sought him at the feast, and said, Where is he? 12And there was much murmuring among the people concerning him: for some said, He is a good man: others said, Nay; but he deceiveth the people. 13Howbeit no man spake openly of him for fear of the Jews.
14Now about the midst of the feast Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.
15And the Jews marvelled, saying, How knoweth this man letters, having never learned?
16Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.
17If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
