Chapter 6

60So then many of His disciples, when they heard this, said, 'This statement is very unpleasant; who can listen to it?' 61But Jesus, aware that His disciples were complaining about this, said to them, 'Is this offensive to you? 62What then if you see the Son of Man ascending to where He was before?

60Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it? 61When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you 62What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before?

60Therefore, when many of his disciples heard this, they said, "This teaching is hard. Who can accept it?"
61Jesus, knowing in himself that his disciples were complaining about this, asked them, "Does this offend you? 62Then what if you were to observe the Son of Man ascending to where he was before?
