Chapter 6

58This is the bread that came down out of heaven, not as the fathers ate and died; the one who eats this bread will live forever.'
59These things He said in the synagogue as He taught in Capernaum.
60So then many of His disciples, when they heard this, said, 'This statement is very unpleasant; who can listen to it?'

58This is that bread which came down from heaven: not as your fathers did eat manna, and are dead: he that eateth of this bread shall live for ever. 59These things said he in the synagogue, as he taught in Capernaum.
60Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it?
