Chapter 10

5However, a stranger they simply will not follow, but will flee from him, because they do not know the voice of strangers.' 6Jesus told them this figure of speech, but they did not understand what the things which He was saying to them meant.
7So Jesus said to them again, 'Truly, truly I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 8All those who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. 9I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.

5And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. 6This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.
7Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. 8All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them. 9I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
