Behold, I will make the shadow on the stairway, which has gone down with the sun on the stairway of Ahaz, go back ten steps.' So the sun’s
shadow
went back ten steps on the stairway on which it had gone down.

I said, 'In the middle of my life
I am to enter the gates of Sheol;
I have been deprived of the rest of my years.'

Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down.

I said in the cutting off of my days, I shall go to the gates of the grave: I am deprived of the residue of my years.

must I now enter the place of the dead?
Am I to be robbed of the rest of my years?'
